WRR-UK were appointed by Sir Robert McAlpine to work on the 60,000 capacity Emirates Stadium project which would be Arsenal Football clubs’ new home. With our long affiliation within the new build stadium sector a large part of our scope was to solve the thermal issues through the concrete structure, by installing a composite Calcium Silicate boarding to the soffit.

Vast areas of separation were required back of house with high levels of fire protection and airborne sound resistance to protect the areas occupied by the general public.

Once more WRR-UK revealed its ability to deliver a complex package of integrated works within a compact program ensuring successful delivery of this magnificent new stadium.
