This Grade 2 listed building originally constructed in 1915 as the head office of the Ford Motor company underwent a huge transformation when refurbished into luxury offices in the heart of Hammersmith.

WRR-UK worked closely with the architect Collado Collins and long-term client and main contractor McLaren, to upgrade the buildings concrete floors and structure to meet current fire resistance legislation whilst still maintaining the look and feel of the original Art Deco features.

The existing ceiling coffers were upgraded using Promat’s Cafco Mandolite CP2 Spray system and trowelled flat to give the appearance of 1920’s plaster.  During the installation WRR-UK managed to solve issues with water ingress into the building due to the removal of the existing roof which was unexpected at the time, working closely with the Main Contractor we managed to utilise our experience working with sprayed waterproofing systems for bored road tunnels and managed to provide a solution to an issue which could have been catastrophic to the building program timescales and the client.
